Tom Clancy's The Divison ( Online, Open-world, RPG, PS4/XboxOne)

The Division is a new game in the Tom Clancy franchise. Using the Snowdrop engine, it is a open world, multiplayer RPG game set in a world devastated by a deadly pathogen. Players will fight enemies factions, loot abandoned buildings and level up their player as they explore a ravaged New York city.

My main task is to create area with interesting structure under the guideline, script enemy AI and combat, and play test a lot to make sure it works well with 1-4 players range. Use the analytic tools to get feedback and improve the design.

Encounter Design: Design linear skirmish mission (1-4 players)

Design areas and combats with open solutions (1-4 players).

Level Design - Structure open world layout.

Help Programmers improving the Editor, script system, feature request documentation.
Far Cry 3 (Open-world FPS, PC/PS3/XBOX360)
World in Conflict (RTS, PC, 2009)
I have been working on this project for 3 years since start to the end. I'm responsible for:

Prototype, design, implement multiplayer maps. (half of the total amount in the final game).

Sub-lead the MP map team and maintain the pipeline during production.

Help game designer implementing system design includes spawning, balancing, game modes, etc.

Co-work with gameplay programmers to improve player spawn system.
-
Prototyping and design co-op level layout and flow.
-
Responsible for playtesting, balancing and bug fixing.
-
After-production: Provide Dunia technical support to Redstorm team for their next Far Cry project.

World in Conflict is a real-time tactical game developed by Massive Entertainment. The game is set in a fictional background while Soviet Union invaded USA in 1989

The game does not offer base-building or resource gathering. Instead, players are given a pre-determined amount of in-game reinforcement points to buy units. The map/levels in the game are designed and support both single player campaign and team based multiplayer.

Xun Long Online
( MMORPG, PC, 2008)

Xun Long Online is a MMORPG powered by Unreal 3 and Atlas, I worked at the very early stage of this game. My work includes world design, feature impulmentation such as seamless map loading. I'm also work as part of engine technical support for other developers.

Hobby Projects

Deep blue is a hobby project I'm working on at spare time. Its a 2D deep-ocean adventure game, features unique dark environment exploring and various player skills. the control supports touch/mouse/gamepad.

Paper Shark is a 2D platformer designed for mobile. The unique touch control enable player swim freely in water, jump in the air, and crash enemy boats with one finger.

Before I joined the industry, I had a great passion on content creating. I have made various of multiplayer maps for Counter-Strike , Unreal Tournament 2004, UT3, Battle Field, single player mission for Rainbow 6, a short RPG game in RPG tools, etc.
